Marko K was born in January 1971 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From a very early age he showed more than an interest in music. He was born in a family of musicians and singers. His father was a professional classical guitar player. One of the rare musicians, at that time, who played a seven-string guitar. Also his uncles played other instruments like bass, cavaquinho and percussion. In addition, his mother and aunts also sang.  As a DJ... In Brazil he always had his gigs at friends' birthday parties, gatherings and private events. In 1999, away from his hometown, he was invited to have his first gig at Arena Nightclub in Los Angeles, California. That was when his DJ career shot up internationally. Djing House Music around the world... Marko K. has already had gigs in Rio (Brazil), Los Angeles and San Francisco (USA), London (UK), Berlin (Germany), Oslo (Norway) and Moscow (Russia).
'This is something that really fascinates me and it's in my soul. The moment I see the public dancing and feeling the beats on the dance floor during each new track played is a pure moment of satisfaction and happiness for me. That's the moment I can understand that no other language is necessary for our communication, just the sound of MUSIC'. Styles and trends...
